Personal Statement:

Greg is completing his master’s degree in immunology while working as a software architect. He previously worked as a software development manager and senior software engineer for over 2 decades. Outside of work and the lab, Greg enjoys hiking and backpacking with his four children, as well as rock climbing, surfing, and running. He is also a visual astronomy enthusiast and enjoys traveling to the desert in search of dark skies.

Research Statement:

His current research explores “A Novel Method to Define the Protein Landscape of B-Cell Repertoires from B-Cell Receptor Amino Acid Sequence k-mer Analysis,” bringing together his experience in software and his interest in bioinformatics.
